Here are my favorite Youtube channels I recommend you subscribe to to learn something new everyday on different fields of knowledge!


Big Think

About: Big Think is the leading source of expert-driven, actionable, educational content with thousands of videos, featuring experts ranging from Bill Clinton to Bill Nye, we help you get smarter, faster.
Notes: The quantity of content is not what it used to be, since they went for the paid subscription Youtube model. Still offers countless videos to go through ranging from any topics one can think of.

Crash Course

About: Tons of awesome courses in one awesome channel! Nicole Sweeney teaches you sociology, Carrie Anne Philbin teaches you computer science, Craig Benzine teaches film history, and Mike Rugnetta is teaching mythology!
Notes: Learn the introductory knowledge of any topic of your interest.

Jordan B Peterson

Smaller clips easier to digest (Recommended)
About: This channel presents video lectures by Dr. Jordan B Peterson, Dr. Peterson is a professor and clinical psychologist.
Notes: Personal favorite here! (I am really into psychology) This psychologist is gaining mainstream popularity at an unprecedented rate, he will make you reflect about areas of your life with his ability to express clearly complex set of ideas.

FightMediocrity

About: FightMediocrity is a channel dedicated to fighting mediocrity through big ideas. I pick some of my favorite books in self-improvement and self-help that I have found useful on my personal development journey, and I animate and share them with my audience.
Notes: The user stop creating new content, still a go to place if you are wondering about the next book you should read.

Kurzgesagt

About: Videos explaining things with optimistic nihilism. We are a small team who want to make science look beautiful. Because it is beautiful.One animation video per month.
Notes: Probably the channel with the most effort put in their videos out there. Makes you reflect particularly about human existence and the universe.

MinuteEarth

About: Science and stories about our awesome planet.
Notes: Quick simple videos that respond to question one might ask about nature.

MinutePhysics

About: Simply put: cool physics and other sweet science.
Notes: Like MinuteEarth, but about Physics.

Sam Harris

About : Join neuroscientist, philosopher, and best-selling author Sam Harris as he explores important and controversial questions about the human mind, society, and current events.
Note: Those videos provide great insights, but aren’t easy to digest for the average viewer. Particular attention to philosophical questions.

Science Plus

About: Science Plus is built for enthusiastic science fans seeking out comprehensive conversations on the geeky topics they love. Host Trace Dominguez digs beyond the usual scope to deliver details, developments and opinions on advanced topics like AI, string theory and Mars exploration.
Note: They ceased to create videos, produce in depth content while keeping it in light form on everything science related.

SciShow

About: SciShow explores the unexpected. Seven days a week, Hank Green, Michael Aranda, and Olivia Gordon delve into the scientific subjects thatdefy our expectations and make us even more curious!
Notes: Scientific answers to common questions.

Seeker

About: Seeker exists where technology, innovation and the future collide. We celebrate relentless curiosity with an insatiable drive to question, inspire, and create.
Notes: Post videos almost everyday about everything science related.

The RSA

About: Want world-changing ideas, world leaders, RSA Animates, self-improvement, talks, debates, interviews, animations and loads more? Well you've come to the right place!
Notes: Some of their speakers are honestly not overly interesting, though search for their animated videos those are definitely worth your time.

The School of life

About: The School of Life is devoted to emotional education. We address the questions we're never taught enough about at regular school or college: How can relationships go well? What is meaningful work? How can love last? How can one find calm? What's gone wrong (and right) with capitalism? We love the humanities, especially philosophy, psychotherapy, literature and art - always going to them in search of ideas that are thought-provoking, useful and consoling. We're about wisdom, emotional intelligence and self-understanding.
Notes: Nothing to add, one of my favorite channel, go take a look!

TED Talks

About: TED Talks shares the best ideas from the TED Conference with the world, for free: trusted voices and convention-breaking mavericks, icons and geniuses, all giving the talk of their lives in 18 minutes.
Notes: Unlimited source a new ideas worth exploring raging from any topic.

TED-Ed

About: TED-Ed’s commitment to creating lessons worth sharing is an extension of TED’s mission of spreading great ideas. Within TED-Ed’s growing library of TED-Ed animations, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated.
Notes: TED Talks in easier consumable animated videos.

Vice

About: The Definitive Guide To Enlightening Information. From every corner of the planet, our immersive, caustic, ground-breaking and often bizarre stories have changed the way people think about culture, crime, art, parties, fashion, protest, the internet and other subjects that don't even have names yet. Browse the growing library and discover corners of the world you never knew existed.
Note: Go find their most popular videos they have some good documentaries.

Vox

About: Vox helps you cut through the noise and understand what's driving events in the headlines and in our lives, on everything from Taxes to Terrorism to Taylor Swift.
Notes: You will find a bit of everything here.

Vsauce

About: The channels feature videos relating to various scientific, psychological, mathematical, and philosophical topics, as well as gaming, technology, culture, and other topics of general interest.
Notes: Mike can make anything interesting to understand, definitely worth taking a glance at his videos, he likes exploring unusual subjects.
