Why don't they just put a giant led light inside a telescope so we can see inside black holes? I know nasa isn't known for their common sense...sigh

Once the light crosses the event horizon, it only has one path, and that is toward the singularity at the center of the black hole. It could not escape the black hole, so we would never see it.
