Citizen Science: Project FeederWatch -- Count #21 Report w/Original Photos

Citizen science is a great way to involve children and adults in discovery and contribute to scientific research and conservation. Project FeederWatch through Cornell University is a great way to get involved in citizen science. You can learn more at the Project FeederWatch website.

I typically watch birds on Saturday and Sunday. This is my report for 30-31 March 2019.

Saturday was windy. The morning started out cloudy but cleared to be a sunny day.

Sunday, 31 March 2019

Sunday was a sunny day.

High: 51 (F) or 10 (C)
Low: 24 (F) or -4 (C)

Winds from the Southwest
Average Wind Speed: 7.9 mph
Highest Gust: 26 mph

Squirrel Notes

The squirrels were back during the weekend. This squirrel really likes black oil sunflower seeds.
