What a lovely, gentle report. One of the gentlest people I ever knew, Maxwell Corydon Wheat Jr., was a 'birdwatcher'. He used to lead nature/poetry excursions on the Hempstead plains of Long Island. He was the first Poet Laureate of Nassau County and some of his poetry featured his love of birds.
I get the same feeling of peace in your post that I got from Max's writing--and also from being around him. It's a nice experience. Thanks :)

Thank you! Some birds are hard to photograph because they do not sit still. I took a lot of pictures of birds over the weekend, but only included the best in the post.
Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike
