In this modern era, many ways for a couple to delay pregnancy, one of them by using contraception when having sex. However, have you ever imagined how the ancient society to avoid pregnancy?

The use of male condoms is currently considered the easiest and simplest pattern. However, before the condom was created, people used to have a creative way of creating contraceptives, even if we sound strange and unorthodox.

Here are some ways that people do in the past as a substitute for condoms in the present era.

Ancient Egypt

In this age people used to use two ways, namely using the dirt of crocodiles in dry or cow dung. The second way is by using acetic rubber latex mixture, dates, fiber and honey.

All of that is inserted into the vagina. If all these methods do not work, then they use poison to abort the womb.

Ancient Greeks

More surprisingly, these days, people will usually put cat testicles into their vagina.

Ancient Europe

The United States (1950-1960)

Perhaps some women today also often use other types of soda drinks to prevent pregnancy or accelerate menstruation. In addition, the women also use soda to clean the sperm in their vagina.
