Hey guys!,Guess what?,something really cool is happening on the 31st of january.if you into astronomy, stargazing ish then you'ld probably be interested. For starters,im not like some astronomical genius,i'll try to explain it though.
SUPER BLUE BLOOD MOON
SUPERMOON-this is when the moon turba into a full moon when in its closest proximity to to earth while in its orbit hence it becomes about 14% larger and brighter.
BLUE MOON-This is when two full moons occurr in the same month (eg in january, the first full moon happened on the Ist of january and the next will be on the 31st).remember that phrase "once in a blue moon"
BLOOD MOON-This occurs when the moon passes through the earths shadow making some part apppear red.
Except u regularly observer the moon,u might notice.its a rate occurrence, last time weve had something like this was more than 150 years ago (March 1866).
Some continents will have a better view of it depending on their time zone.
The partial eclipse will be seen 11:48UT
The total eclipse-12:52UT
The maximum-13:30UT(universal time)
If u have telescopes,all the better!170724111304-01-moon-file-exlarge-169.jpg180125123224-01-lunar-eclipse-infographic-large-169.jpg
