CryptoN00B is slowly developing an ICO

#introduction It has been a long, long time since i could call myself a n00b. Maybe even for the first time, since back in the old days you didnt call anyone n00b, you were a rookie. But that is neither here nor there. I am a scientist. I have worked and trained in the (bio) medical field for almost twenty years. When i started DNA was something abstract and cool, and now, it is just daily business. Molecular techniques were expensive, and now-a-days it is standard. Everything is being made easy by increasing our technological standards.

If you work long enough in a specific (narrow) field you notice things which are not optimal, or completely inefficient. You try to change it from the inside out - but that is more often inefficient in itself. And maybe you cannot fix a broken system, you have to show a better one.

#plan In my following posts i will highlight some flaws within the workflow of scientists (life-sciences) - but could also be related to different fields - and how i think tokens can change or help them. So more simply, it the next blogs i will explain why i am developing a new currency/token and hope on input from the community to change and adapt.

As stated before, my background is not within the field of computers. I started studying Artificial Intelligence in the University when i was younger, but focused on my other masters. I never completed it. Fair to say is that i am proficient with computers, but not even an amateur when it comes to programming. It could be a benefit, i will first state what i think the system should do and then try figuring out whether it is obtainable.

First, we need a name. This would make it is more easily to discuss the subject. Let us call it IP.

#IP
Why IP? Intellectual property. Everything discovers, everything found is covered under IP. While science should be transparent. But IP could also mean impact power. The worth of a scientist is determined by his publication record and the impact of his publications (which is partly based on the magazine). Impact factor is a strong determinant of magazine selection.

What do you think? Different name needed. And what kind of characteristics should IP get?
