The caterpillar hatches from each egg for about 10 days, then changes the skin to 5 times until it reaches its true size.
The last change of skin results in a wet and soft cocoon. After approximately 1 week this pupa hardens. From inside the cocoon, comes a beautiful butterfly, which then connects to the imago phase (adult butterfly). A female imago can only be married to a male imago.
Butterflies do come from caterpillars that undergo perfect metamorphosis or different stages before becoming an adult. Age of butterflies ranges from 3-4 weeks.

- larvae (larvae) aged 14-20 days by changing the skin 4-5 times, at that age consumes leaves equivalent area 20x30cm.
- cocoon (chrysalis / pupa) fast and rest for 14-16 days, it takes 1-2 hours to alleviate the wings before daylight flies for the first time.
