"Sexual Symbiosis"

In many ways, it is as if men and women are
Each from a different species;
We're Biochemically very different,
We react to the same stimuli in very
Different ways, our very
Thought Processes revolve around sets of
Criteria which many times are
Diametrically Opposed, in such
Ways it is very surprising that communication is even
Possible.
Yet

For the most part, we are driven to seek
Out the opposite sex and for more than
Reproductive Purposes.
Men and women tend to feel as if they
Are ‘completed’ by the other, it’s as if out there
Somewhere, there is someone who is
‘Meant’ To Be Our Mate.
Is this simply the result of
Exposure to Millennia old
"Societal Conditioning?:
If it is true, then
Why do the largest part of these
Pairings end up in
Divorce or Separation?

Just as early cells
Became Symbiotic with Mitochondria,
Did the Basis of the
Division Of the Sexes for Reproduction,
Result from Some early

Symbiosis?
