Thanks for the reminder to always think critically when presented information by people that is "scientifically" supported. Its important to put personal research into a subject before accepting it as face value by someone who is supposedly an authority figure or knowledgeable or has studied the topic. Also, as you said people often choose articles that support comfirmation bias about topics they feel strongly about vs. presenting information objectively and from multiple angles.
