A physics scientist and entrepreneur who came from the Philippines has found a simple and cheap technology, Aisa Mijone is currently known as an inventor of electric lights that use salt water.
Keep in mind that Aisa Mijeno is a professor at De La Salle University Philippines, she is a formidable woman. At the 2016 APEC Summit, Obama has invited well-known businessmen from China to invest in energy-saving companies being built by Aisa Mijeno.
Aisa Mijeno named the findings are SALt (Sustainable Alternative Lighting).
Aisa only requires 250 ml or one glass of water and 2 tablespoons of salt to make a lamp light up for about 8 hours.

The two electrodes are anode and cathode, the anode is a type of metal having more active properties and there will be a dissolution reaction when connected, while the metal acting as a cathode by means of cathodic protection will not undergo a reaction. In short, when electrolytes that have been placed electrode will generate electrical energy to light the lamp for approximately 8 hours.
Seawater is considered to have a good salinity level to replace water and salt since the average in 1000 grams of seawater contains 35 grams of salinity.
As we know that the earth has the ocean and the ocean is wider than the mainland. Each sea has a different salt content but it can be said that an average seawater in the world contains about 3.5% salt.

Why does seawater contain salt content?
The salt content of seawater is actually obtained from rocks and soil containing mineral salts such as sodium, potassium and, others.
But you know, that you can also make batteries that use salt water as a battery and how to make it?
Almost the same as the light that has been created by Aisa Mijeno, which distinguishes it is a brine battery is only able to turn on 1 LED lights and more practical, what we need?
- 1 piece LED light
- Small size cable
- Copperplate
- Aluminum Foil
- Kitchen Towel paper towel
- 1 glass Warm Saltwater
- Tape
How to make it?
- Cut one side of 0.5 cm copper plate using scissors, but do not break because a copper plate pieces are used to connect a cable to the lamp.
- Cut Aluminum Foil 2 times larger than a copper plate, and fold the aluminum foil by leaving one part to be connected to the cable.
- Make a copper plate and aluminum foil layer with the following structure, paper towel, arrangement as follows, paper towel-coper plate-paper towel-aluminum foil-paper towel.
- Then roll the layer so that it is cylindrical, and tie it with tape.
- Edge copper plate and aluminum foil that has been made in the form of a roll (cylinder) was connected to a cable that has been connected with LED lights.
- Dip or soak briefly the scroll and... the LED light will light up.
According to the calculations and practical results, the LED light will light up to 1 hour, to make the lights back on again you just need to soak the copper plate reel and aluminum into the brine (saltwater).
Many governments in developed and developing countries are campaigning for eco-friendly movement as well as energy-saving, this is due to the increasing need of energy every day by humans and most of the energy obtained comes from fossil sources (petroleum).
A physics professor from the Philippines created SALt, SALt is a lamp that uses salt water as an energy generator, SALt is an innovation that is environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
You only need two tablespoons of salt mixed with one glass of water to make a light up to 8 hours, you can even make a practical saltwater battery to make a LED light up to 1 hour.
The battery I'm talking about is still a prototype and still needs further development.
Saltwater lamps can also use seawater instead of 2 tablespoons of salt.
By using brine or seawater as a powerhouse we have created a renewable energy. Earth has a very abundant sea water, so if we use this technology with maximum then we have created a more practical energy innovation and environmentally friendly.

I agree, now and in the future, the world increasingly need alternative energy that is environmentally friendly. To my knowledge, alternative energy is generally more economical. Therefore, in my opinion, the findings of Aisa Mijone, about energy electric lamps that use salt water, it is very useful to continue to be developed.
So far, I only know that river water is an alternative source of energy, so the government builds Hydroelectric Power Plants (PLTA).

It seems like it will take a long time to use this technology thoroughly, certainly many unemployed and entrepreneurs feel harmed by this technology, and it seems it is the most difficult government challenge to maximize the use of SALT lights :)
