While taking Interferon for Hep C I became ill with the flu. I was given an antibiotic which wiped out my good bacteria and I developed Thrush . I awoke to a blood sugar of 630 and I could not see. ( I was later diagnosed with a third optical stoke.) I was hospitalized for over a week. I have been insulin dependent since I was hospitalized.
