The moon may not turn us into Warewolves or lunatic killers. But, it is very apparent that the moon really does have an effect on us. Actually, we should be even more aware of it, because science is finding out how the other planets in our solarsystem are effecting us when they come closer and when they're in certain spots in our orbit. The moon is much closer and therefor should have the most effect.
We have visual evidence of this, with this Tide. High and low Tied is caused by the moon :).
