Scientists have developed a flexible surgical glue that can radically change the style of work in emergency cases, such as stuck critical wounds on the skin or organs without need for medical staples.

The gel is based on metakriolil tropoelastin (meters for short) hybrid elastic protein that can be applied to external and internal wounds and to encourage them to heal rapidly, providing an opportunity for healing the trauma even when such often far at all there was no.

According to experts of the international team that created the glue, it can literally be life-saving , thanks to its ability to seal wounds within 60 seconds without stopping natural extension and smoothing the tissue or organ to which it is applied. So far, attempts are restricted to animals, but perhaps ahead passing the tests in humans.
