Scientists have discovered new drug to cure obesity

New drug have been developed by the scientists that shrinks body fat without any exercise or dieting. This drug has amazing effects to reduce body weight and cholesterol levels.

Scientists first gave high fat diet to mice until they became obese. Then scientists tested this drug on obese mice without lowering food intake and it worked by increasing fat cell metabolism and mice weight lost more than 7% within ten days only and their fat tissue size decreased by 30% and blood cholesterol also restored to normal.

Thus it proved that weight loss can be enhanced without hunger suppression.

As fat cells grow in size, their metabolism rate slows down and it becomes harder for these cells to burn accumulated fat. This drug blocks this metabolic brake from operating in fat cells and increases the metabolism rate.

Researchers are hopeful that in near future, these results can be replicated in human beings. In another research, scientists converted human fat cell into stem cells. These stem cells can eventually regenerate and repair damaged tissues in the body.

These stem cells are converted with the help of growth factors and then they induce to become Pluripotent Stem Cells. These cells are known as master cells and are able to make cells from all body layers, so they can potentially produce any cell or tissue. This master property of such cells is known as pluripotency and can even heal heart injury and damaged spinal cords.

Researchers have plan to start human trials later this year.
