Long term Harm from Body Tattoos

in science •  7 years ago

Is it a warning, still in the preliminary research stage.

It has been said that various risks associated with tattoos. But now, as a part of fashion, there are countries that are more widely accepted than before. Even though it can not be put in, is it only personal freedom?

However, research studies showing mild results on health damage caused by tattoos on the human body over the long term have recently been announced in the nature reports of the electronic journal. Harmful substances seeped out to the lower layers of the skin containing tattoos over the years, and it exerts a bad influence on health? There is raising a problem for such danger!

In the same study, it is said that 4 subjects with tattoos and 2 without tattoos received experimental samples of skin and lymph nodes after death. And when we carried out a high degree of X-ray examination, the dye component was discovered to the lymph nodes in half of those who had tattoos.

In addition, it revealed that abnormal levels of aluminum, chromium, iron, nickel, copper, etc. were detected from lymph nodes and skin. One person who was putting a tattoo detected cadmium and mercury. In addition, it is said that titanium was found in abnormal concentrations from the skin and lymph nodes of all those who had tattoos.

Although it has been said that all of the numerous toxic metal components detected from the lymph nodes are likely to ooze out of the tattoo, it is clear how much the actual human body was affected. It is also attached with an explanation that it is not proved to be.

In the first place, since it is not a medical procedure for tattoos, have never studied the influence on the human body deeply. Even in this research, it can not conclude that tattoos are harmful only by this because the number of people to be surveyed is too small.

The influence of tattoo may be something more than just around the skin with tattoos put in.

Mr. Wolfgang Bäumler of Regensburg University Hospital in Germany, who is not participating in this research, comments like this and shows that it is a result that supports the serious harm of tattoo which he himself has argued. More research will be underway from now, and the mechanism of harmful action on the detailed human body may be elucidated.

Depending on the findings, it may affect the long history of tattoo culture as well.
