'Memory transplant' achieved in snails

in science •  7 years ago

When the RNA was inserted into snails that had not undergone this process, they behaved just as if they had been sensitised.

Fascinating article, a little over my head though. The funny part is that I take RNA as a daily supplement, not sure if that's a good thing or not, lol.

RNA and DNA is what I take, just looked it up

hey @onthehook interesting information....Memory transplant.

Thanks, yeah I thought so too. :)

I didn't know that RNA and DNA sold as supplements. Intresting. For what purposes they're being used?

I keep notes on every supplement that I take, mostly from research studies, customer reviews, or alternative medicine websites, here's what I have on RNA....

....between one to two months after supplementing with RNA, their skin began to smooth out and fine lines and wrinkles began to diminish, typically starting on the forehead. After two months, liver spots often disappeared, and after two to four months, senile keratoses (the common wart-like skin lesions associated with aging) lightened in color and decreased in size. This is when patients typically saw a drop in any abnormally high cholesterol levels.

Nice. Beware of any memory changes though! :) Just kidding. I don't think it works that way.

Lol

Interesting. I want some of my memories transplanted, lol. Also, I had no idea you could buy RNA as a supplement. I'm gonna look into that further. Thx for the info.

:)
