The Search for Nothing Reveals Nothing.......but Background Noise.

According to cosmological observations & standard model of particle physics which explains electromagnetic, weak, and strong nuclear interactions as well as all the known subatomic particles accounts for about 5% of the energy present in the universe.

27% is thought to consist of dark matter that behaves just like regular matter, but only interacts weakly Electromagnetic, strong and weak fields. The remaining 68% should be a constant energy density known as dark energy.

This week (July 21) results were presented from the Large Underground Xenon (LUX) dark matter detector. Which is the most sensitive detector on the planet, located nearly a mile underground below the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The results from 20-month run found no dark matter activity. Perhaps the Standard Model can't account for everything in the universe and its time to look at other theories
