On March 9, Beijing time, Relativity Space announced that the next launch window for the Terran 1 rocket will be March 11, 13:00-16:00 Eastern Time.
The company was originally scheduled to launch its first 3D printed rocket, Terran 1, from Cape Canaveral on March 8, Eastern Time. On the same day, the company tweeted that the launch was canceled "due to exceeding the launch commitment standard limit for the thermal condition of the second stage propellant."
According to the person in charge of the company, the 3D printed rocket is 33.5 meters high. The mission was to test the company's proprietary 3D printing technology. Using this technology, the company can build rockets from raw materials in 60 days, while 3D printing requires fewer parts.
