Poisonous Magic

in science •  8 years ago

The sad thing is... why does a children have to be paralized for life because his parents were stupid enough to not vaccinate him against polio?
There's no problem if an adult refuses medical treatment, it's his own choice to die.
But, when a child is involved and someone takes a wrong decision over him, just because they read it at a blog... Edging murder.

Sort Order:

A person's body, including everything taken in by that body should be the responsibility of that individual. In that same line of thinking, a child, and what a child consumes or takes in should be the responsibility of that child's parents.
Bottom line, no group of people should force their ways of life on anyone else. Have debate and conversation so those so inclined can get as balanced a view of any topic as possible, but once force enters the equation it's time to realize the word 'freedom' is empty rhetoric only.

Yet, we have laws, and "children's rights" and laws...
If by action or inaction a children dies... that is simply murder.

That's all well and good. Hold parents that are negligent in their care of a child responsible if their actions lead to the death of their child. That doesn't mean it's ok to force people to do anything against their will.
