A Transmission Electron Microscope anode I polished very nicely a while back.

This is how an Anode in a TEM should look...mirror finish. Of course most dont after some use. Just finished polishing this one, and there is still some polishing compound in the aperture, which I will clean off next. The anode pulls the electrons down from the gun into the optics part of the scope. #science #steemstem #share2steem #electronoptics #electronmicroscopy
