That's right, you can hear the actual sound of the Sun. The human ear can perceive sounds ranging from about 20 to 20 000 hertz, that's why it's impossible to register the Sun's vibrations. It produces very low frequencies and also very high ones that we just can't hear. In order to hear them NASA recorded the Sun's vibrations for several days and speeded up the recording to a several minute audio file, so the human ear can register it.
Another interesting fact is that Earth also has a vibration which is about 7.83 hertz.
