Could Blockchain Technology like Steemit save Science from Budget Cut Backs? 🔬

Do you think that if I do some strange studies (as it is seen by general public) on electron accelerator I would be ever possible to find funding from society, using like steemit platform or kickstarter? It seems unreal. Blockchain technology and reward based platform are great things, but unfortunately as I see it, we cannot give full freedom to society to decide what and how to fund in science, since general public does not have any idea about what is happening in science. Maybe, scientific community/ies can do this job, but than we will loose decentralization, the system will be quasi-centralized,in a sense that only some part of society can do judgement. Notice, that I'm still think in paradigm where we have classical tax system and budgets, but only redistribution of money happens differently. But if all society stop paying taxes on science, we will have absolutely unstable situation, since people will give their money only to research they understand or at least grasp idea. What we should do? From my point of view we should try to optimize how we spent money in science using blockchain, we pay to much for everything. We need to have feedbacks about equipment we buy, in first, in our countries, than all over the world. We should publish negative results in blockchain, so everyone can see what they should not repeat simply to save money on other research. I hope I will finish my white paper soon, so I can write my ideas in more clear way. Cheers. Thank you for thoughts.
