Pegasus

It is winged horse which came into being from sea foam and a drop of Medusa's blood, which had fallen into it. Medusa had been slain by Perseus. An inspiration — giving spring struck from a kick of his hoof. He was a favourite of the Muses and a symbol of poetic creation.

Auriga

The origin of this name is associated with the legend of Gefestos, the god of fire and skilled smith, who was a patron of handicraft. He invented a chariot, for Which Zeus placed him in heaven. However, it is depicted on many starry maps in the shape of a shepherd. This is how it was portrayed on J. Hevelius' star map.
