Astronauts aboard the ISS take some very cool pictures of Earth

This picture was taken by astronauts on expedition 50. In this picture you can see a sliver of daylight over the edge of the Northern hemisphere. This expedition began October 30, 2016 and ended April 10, 2017.[1][2]

Expedition 50 had some cool experiments. One interesting one is the Tissue Regeneration-Bone Defect. Few species can regenerate bones, but most have the ability to start the process. This test was to see if there were any changes under low gravity and measure them. They took mice and segmented their femur and observed. Sadly, the results are still pending. [3]
