Alternative Therapy

in science •  7 years ago

My topic today is on the benefits of High Dose Vitamin C intravenously.

Those that know me know that I am a supporter of Alternative Medicine. I gravitate towards Western Doctors that integrate Alternative Medicine into their practice.

What is Alternative Medicine?
It is anything other than conventional (Western) medicine, which includes a variety of methods for healing or treatment of diseases that are not limited to but include naturopathic doctors, and chiropractors.

We all need Vitamin C in our diets and taking supplements is a good idea if you are lacking, but our digestive system tends to extract or maybe you are too sickly to process oral supplements at all. Unfortunately, our bodies will only process approximately 18% of the Vitamin C that we consume.

The benefits to taking Vitamin C intravenously is that your liver and digestive organs are bypassed altogether by administering directly to your bloodstream. You will then receive a high dose of Vitamin C on a cellular level.

What are the benefits? They include and are not limited to:

-slows and/or stops many types of Cancer. This is very controversial, but in fact, my Western Doctor cured his own lymphatic cancer with High Dose Vitamin C intravenously. Again, this happens only at high doses, as the Vitamin C interacts with oxygen and iron which causes the formation of high concentration of peroxide.

-A strong immune system booster with anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-histamine properties.

-Vitamin C also plays an important role in the maintenance of collagen throughout your body, including the health of your heart.

I hope you enjoyed my post because I enjoyed making it!

Good work! Vitamin C is a really underestimated nutriment that we all need. Here is a few points that I wanted to add.

  1. Other mammals like dogs or wolves do not rely as much as we do from nutrition to make their own vitamin C. That is one of the reason (among plenty) why on average dogs don't get as much sick as we do.

  2. Today fruits and vegetables are not even as nearly nutritious as they were 50 years ago in terms of vitamins and nutriments. This is due to poor agricultural choices that impoverish soils (deplete them from minerals , carbon and microorganisms), pesticides, herbicides (glyphosate) , GMOs, heavy metal contamination (aluminium, mercury and other metals from mining ...). Here is a good link that explains that https://www.soscuisine.com/blog/orange-1950s-equivalent-21-todays-oranges/.

  3. Luckily, we can still find good vitamin C if we eat supplements (organic non-GMO Camu Camu powder) or if we grow our own food and make good agricultural choices.

  4. For those that are sick, synthetic vitamin C called "L-ascorbic acid" can be used at high dose intravenously. Linus Pauling who was a Nobel Prize published many research on that. Also Dr. Frederick R. Klenner use L-ascorbic acid many times clinically, including on his own son. Below are some links that detail it and detail some of the diseases that have been cured by L-ascorbic acid.

I have resteemed this post, as I think that it is of very high importance and value. More and more people need to know about the benefit of vitamin C.

Thank you so much and I appreciate all the information! I agree with everything you have said. We as humans can not make our own Vit C and must get it from food or supplements. All it takes is a stressful situation and it literally zaps Vit C as well as many other nutrients.

Oh thank you! :) Let's all spread the knowledge that we know :)

I too have been a follower of alternative medicine for decades, primarily because allopathic medicine largely failed me and my family, whereas alternative medicine has helped us all on numerous occasions and counting.

I too am sold on the benefits of high dose vitamin C, which has been shown effective even against MRSA, for which there are currently few viable options. Yet too many hospitals don't even consider using it, mostly because it is rarely even mentioned in medical schools, because it is not consistent with their profit-driven mode of medical "care."

Having lost one of my best friends to MRSA a few years back, following a relatively minor elective surgery, this is personal to me.

I also lost my older sister to congestive heart failure, another condition for which I've since learned that high dose vitamin C is an extremely effective treatment . . . and yet, again, rarely utilized by most American hospitals.

Whatever happened to "First, do no harm" . . . ?

Finally, are you aware of Sayer Ji and his website GreenMedInfo.com?

He has amassed an incredible collection of peer-reviewed papers covering pretty much any health issue you can think of, regarding alternative and natural treatments and their results in hard research and clinical studies all over the world, and he has made much of it available for free.

There are also a couple of paid membership levels, for professionals and writers, which are well worth it for those of us who do regular research. His site is one of the go-to sites for a lot of doctors and professional researchers.

Upvoted and resteemed.

@crescendoofpeace I am really sorry for what has happened to you and your family, this is a very sad story
:( . Thank you for the info regarding Sayer Ji, I will check it out. By the way like you said there are plenty natural treatment like magnesium chloride and colloidal silver and more people need to know about it. Let's spread the knowledge that we know :) !

I too am very sorry for your loss. Thank you very much for sharing and I can't thank you both for helping spread the knowledge!

Very interesting, but... I like eating my oranges! They're so tasty, and juicy. They are in Spain and in Florida, anyway. Shipping them to Minnesota seem to drain something from their juicy little souls.

Not being a fan of needles, maybe I should just eat more to compensate. In Andalucía, it's not uncommon to have fresh-squeezed OJ for breakfast. Perhaps that plays a role in the population's health. One more reason to find a way back there, I guesss!

Nice post!

Oh, and the ones on trees in public places in Spain, like these, are bitter marmalade oranges and, quite literally, taste like vomit. A "friend" of mine tried eating one, which was a lot of fun to watch :-)

Haaaaa, I too would have fun watching someone eat the bitter oranges! And I hear you...I too am certainly not a fan of needles and IF I have to get one, I can be found cowering in a corner glassy eyed, in the fetal position, babbling words that even I don't understand. lol Thanks for having a look at my post!

Encantado conocer a usted.

Igualmente :-)

I truly value your remark and concur 100%. There is SO much that vitamin C can either avert or cure. I feel it is a wrongdoing that 1 individual from the Mayo Center could stop the mass appropriation of how advantageous high measurements genuinely is.

Very good ur article , I support alternative medicine because it deals with natural ingredients and away from chemical substances, especially vitamin C. The human is in dire need of this vitamin because it protects many diseases. As mentioned previously, many people died due to influenza, due to lack of vitamin C. With orange and lemon fruits,
I like ur information for ur post so good luck my dear lady @steem-samiam👍

Vitamin C is really good for your immune system. But Vitamin C has any clinically significant antitumor activity.
The human body can only absorb a maximum of Vitamin C. So you need a infusion/injection for high blood doses.

I like that your text is really scientific.

Appreciate you commenting. Thanks for looking at my post.

really informative and great post

the way you describe about Vitamin C is really helpful . Thank you so much

Hi,
I totally agree with you that Vitamin C is vital for good health. I was getting sore throat very often so I started taking slow release Vitamin C 6000mg a day. That was still not working well for me. Then I read that Vitamin C combined with dihydroquercetin is more potent. Now I am taking that combination and it's working great for me.

As usual wonderful creativity

Put up is worth pursuing

Thank you

Waiting for the next

So wild!! Have you "done" C?? lol.
I guess I shouldn't be suprised that a girl who's not afraid of tigers is not afraid of needles.

Lol, yes I've done the "C" and I'm the biggest coward when it comes to needles lol. Put me in with Tigers and I'm in my happy place :)

haha nice. Ehhh, Tigers are cute. But I'll watch them from afar. Unless they're cubs :)
So did you feel anything? Or it's probably about the same as eating a bunch of vitamin C capsules?

Nice tiger..
