Airbus is the world's leading European airline maker, now on the way to making the dream of science fiction a reality. According to the Daily Mail report, The company made its first test flight for the first time on January 31 this year. They were able to fly The prototype aircrafts Vahana, twice to 53 seconds.
Vahana officials said that they will be able to market it by 2020. The 20.3 feet length and the 18.7 feet width, the Bhahna aircraft, have been prepared to land in a steep position. The aircraft is made up of four engines. The body Vahana is like helicopter and there are two set fans on each side of the body.
The car can only transport one passenger. This experimental flight was in the Pendleton Unmanned Aerial System Range of Oregon in the US.
Very cool post @steemtravelers, glad I was able to catch it. This stuff about flying cars is a little behind of what people that would happen years ago but, has slowly been churning towards reality. I have always liked the magnetic railway. Such little resistance those trains can fly with virtually zero resistance with opposing magnetic poles facing each other causing the hover effect. I remember seeing that in an industrial arts class in school a few decades ago. Always puzzled me why the economics never worked in that? Thanks for the post @steemtravelers keep up the great work!
