Ok, I'll admit: I might be crazy. Anything is possible. I follow patterns to help understand. Maybe I've lost my mind, but how else can we find truth but to consider possibilities?
Hidden within the first chapter of Genesis is a description of Judgment Day.
This event has generally occurred cyclically in the past and released a shockwave of debris and radiation onto the "Old Earth" that transformed it into present-day Mars. Simultaneously, it influenced the "Old Venus" which became our Earth. This is written about in Genesis 1:1-2.
"1In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, 2the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God[b] swept over the face of the waters."--NRSV
[b]: Genesis 1:2 Or while the spirit of God or while a mighty wind.--NRSV
Genesis 1:1 - A Closer Look
In the Masoretic Text the verse consists of 7 words and 28 letters and is as follows:
Vocalized: בְּרֵאשִׁית בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ
Transliterated: Bereshit bara Elohim et hashamayim ve'et ha'aretz.--Wikipedia
Importantly, in the Hebrew word bereishit (בְּרֵאשִׁית) the definite article of "the" is missing. The complete word literally means "In beginning". This is much more accurate because it does not require that all that is, was, and ever will be originated simultaneously with the Earth.
Genesis 1:2 - A Closer Look
We can take a closer look at the second verse as well to see a wider spectrum of meanings for the translated portion "while a wind from God".
Vocalized: וְהָאָ֗רֶץ הָיְתָ֥ה תֹ֙הוּ֙ וָבֹ֔הוּ וְחֹ֖שֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י תְהֹ֑ום וְר֣וּחַ אֱלֹהִ֔ים מְרַחֶ֖פֶת עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַמָּֽיִם׃
Transliterated: Ve·ha·'a·retz to·hu va·vo·hu, ve·cho·shech al-pe·nei te·ho·vm; ve·ru·ach e·lo·him, me·ra·che·fet al-pe·nei ham·ma·yim.--Biblehub
"Rûach (רוּחַ) has the meanings 'wind, spirit, breath,' and elohim can mean 'great' as well as 'god'. The ruach elohim which moves over the Deep may therefore mean the "wind/breath of God" (the storm-wind is God's breath in Psalms 18:15 and elsewhere, and the wind of God returns in the Flood story as the means by which God restores the earth), or God's "spirit", a concept which is somewhat vague in Hebrew bible, or simply a great storm-wind.[11]"--Wikipedia
Judgment Day and Genesis
The Earth was much like Venus, having a singular solid crust and a thick atmosphere. An atmosphere so thick that the light from the stars was physically blocked from reaching the surface. The wave of energy and debris from the supernova of Mercury swept across the planet. The thick atmosphere protected the planet as the pulses of energy pushed on the planet. The atmosphere, though, was largely stripped away from the event, and the debris around the planet after the event occurred formed into the moon. Additionally, the planet was physically pushed out of its Venusian orbit to Earth's orbit, and caused to rotate from the event.
As a result, an atmosphere alike to what we see today was produced and the rotation led to day and night as we see them. As the event settled, the sun, moon, and stars became apparent on a planet that did not previously have visibility of the outside universe.
The rotation of the planet produced its electromagnetic field, which is caused by gravity, leading to production of atoms where the flows of particles that make up the electromagnetic field merged at the center of gravity which later resulted in the "Great Flood" and the Earth's crust breaking apart and developing into separate continents and oceans as a new equilibrium was established due to the change in the rate of rotation of the planet.
Yep. Insane. I know.
