I can see you have put a lot of thought into this subject callistanix. I too have thought about this subject. I first heard about CRISPR from Clif High, then I did a little research on it. In a way steroids have been used in the past to create superhumans but now we have something totally different. As we know steroids have disastrous side effects and I believe CRISPR will as well. You can NOT fool mother nature.
That doesn't mean she can not be tampered with. I would never inflict CRISPR on my body during the infant stages of its development. The science involved at this point is really just a guessing game and TPTB love to use commoners as guinea pigs.
You have to wonder though.... are TPTB trying to get a head start on evolution? We see mutations happening all around the world. In fact, I have had unexplained things happen to me and around me through my life. I really do not want to give those bastards anything. Their inbreeding has probably genetically set them back decades. They deserve everything they have coming. They are scared. I say, let them steep in their fear for the rest of their lives.
I agree with you! Let the evolution revolution spear out from within each and everyone of us naturally. We Are Who We Have Been Waiting For!!!!

Why thanks @thisisit :D
And yeah, that's kinda the point I was driving here.
Worst mistake I can think of. The infant is a growing human being, and there's way more to it than might meet the eye. Even an eye behind a microscope.
The most I'd be willing to go for in bodily modifications is some degree of limited cybernetics once I've attained a certain age and build.
I'd prefer to incinerate my body before they get access to my genetic structure for anything.
Word.
