Fact!

A rubber band is a loop of rubber, commonly used for holding multiple objects together. Natural rubber comes from the South American tree called Hevea Brasiliensis and some people are allergic to this natural material. However, the majority of rubber produced today is synthetic. All rubber band releases heat energy when stretched and absorbs heat energy when retracted. In March 17, 1845 Stephen Perry patents the the rubber band which has the major consumer in the US with the US Portal that use them to sort and group mail.
