♃ OCCULTIST CORNER #5: Mind Control Stories

in science •  7 years ago

Professor Leonid Grigori Vasiliev (1891-1966) was a Soviet parapsychologist and physiologist who managed to establish the controversial area of parapsychology in Russia -as well as all around the world - conducting innovative, strange experiments which mainly involved the application of distant influence through telepathy or highly advanced mind control.

Professor Vasiliev and his associates were interested in establishing an Institute of parapsychology. Since they couldn't rely on self-financing, they had been searching for ways in order to persuade the government to provide funding for their big project. It seems that it wasn't so easy for them to succeed in their efforts as Russians scientists used to disparage and even sabotage the innovative and eccentric methods of their work.

Finally, Stalin decided to arrange a meeting with professor Vasiliev in order to make a decision of whether he should finance the professor's wish for the establishment of a parapsychological institute or not. It was while their first contact that Professor Vasiliev suggested Stalin to bet on the institute's approval: Stalin would offer his approval, if he (the professor) would manage to appear at Stalin's personal office, on the exact day and the exact time of their prearranged meeting, actually out of nowhere...

Stalin was certain that professor Vasiliev wouldn't manage to appear out of nowhere and he would definitely lose the bet. There wasn't the slightest possibility that professor could make it because Stalin's house was guarded by far too many armed men. So, certainly the professor could make it to come at the office, as long as he would manage to become an invisible man and enter the house without being noticed...

It was a cold night, the clock at the office had just shown 8 and while Stalin was casually sitting on his big chair's desk, he heard a slight coughing coming from the armchair located on the other side of his desk...Professor Vasiliev was sitting on the armchair staring at him. The first thing Stalin did was to call his guards asking them how they could let someone pass all the way in his house without even informing him or at least without noticing anything. The guards claimed that they haven't seen any man that night who looked like Vasiliev entering into the house...

Did the professor actually manage to become invisible?

Vasiliev explained to Stalin that he had managed to create a projection of himself which could make him appear in front of the guards as one of the most loyal, high honoured counsellors of Stalin's, as a result he passed by them completely undisturbed and of course, due to his explanation, no soldier had to face the death penalty that night by the ruthless Stalin...And Vasiliev won his bet as Stalin was persuaded about the effectiveness of mind control.

It's needless to say that Soviet Intelligence Agency used many professional achievements of the parapsychological institute for their own benefit and the corresponding American Intelligence Agency have also applied similar mind control methods for well-known reasons.

Professor Vasiliev was a person with great mind controlling skills and there's another fact or better yet, an experiment that proves it.

One day he walked into a bank and gave a piece of a completely blank, white paper to an employee who paid him back the amount of 1.000 rubles. The fact is that Vasiliev managed to project a concept on the employee's mind that what he actually got was a check of a thousand rubles while it was just a piece of white, blank paper...

Later, people who were present during the experiment confirmed its validity and professor Vasiliev paid back the amount of money which the employee unsuspectedly had paid to him.

Mind control offers amazing power to the one that possesses it as a skill but it's not the greatest way to succeed in your goals, unless you are willing to use the power for the good of mankind, wisely and humbly.

The question is: Do governments or secret agencies use mind-control games? One thing I know is that I definitely wouldn't enjoy this kind of power over me unless I am about to harm someone and only an instant hypnotic control movement (see The Witcher: Axii sign) would stop me from doing it.

Many of us know and realize the fact that mind control exists on many different forms starting from marketing or political tricks, media manipulative authorities and so on and it's always good to be awake and to doubt all sources of information. After all, who wouldn't want to use mind control in order to establish their authority over other people and feel empowered?

Reality is complicated because with very few exceptions, all people want to be part of and dominate other people's lives. Sometimes they do it without even knowing it. Everyday people play mind games to you and you selfishly feel that it's you who wanted to buy that car...

If you stare deeply inside the eyes of a human, you will realize that reality is nothing more than just another illusion of "know it all" because we actually know nothing. We always expect to see something more that would reveal to us the unknown but we always fail and what we see into other people's eyes is our own image. So the mystery remains a mystery...this is why I usually avoid direct eye contact with people who I feel are manipulative.

People who know how to control a mind (I mean the experts not the everyday seller at your neighbourhood) don't focus on the projection of their own image, they do not make efforts to realize their own mystery, so reality is not complicated to them. Those people focus on projecting an image of an alternative reality and most of us, we are unable to understand it.

So, I have decided to come to a final conclusion with a cheesy, though very wise and truthful quote by Buddha which says the following:

" To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him."

Remember that to keep you mind in control, you need to focus on an alternative reality which may have you as a centre (but you are someone else) and you should first recognise and accept its existence. Your mind cannot be controlled by your own ego and this is what the reality of most of us projects at the moment, our own ego.

Synthesise the right way and you will be evolved.
