WASHINGTON, March 19, FederalPress. American company Walmart patented drones for pollination of plants.

In the United States, the population of bees is rapidly declining, which is very worrisome for farmers. Engineers have come up with the use of robots instead of natural pollinators, Reuters writes.

Robots-bees will be engaged in cross-pollination of plants and point-spray pesticides, in order to process chemistry only those plants that already suffer from pests. This will greatly reduce the cost of processing the crop and reduce the environmental burden.
