Looks like it might be a black-headed wasp moth, Eressa angustipenna.

Thanks. Just kind of lucky that I figured it out since I'm not too familiar with moths in that region of the world. I was pretty sure it was in the Arctiinae subfamily, because I actually first thought it was some kind of tiger moth. After a bit of googling I saw it was more likely a wasp moth, which is another major group of the Arctiinae.

It looks like it might be invasive from Australia but I can't find much info on the matter
