A designer from Brooklyn unveiled a new design for an environmentally friendly home made entirely of live plants, called 'The Living Home'!
The green house or living house is made up of logs and has branches that have grown to form walls. The outer part is woven from a thick protective layer of chrome, interspersed with pockets of soil where plants grow.
A home designer and professor at New York University named Mitchell Joachim said that the house was designed to be fit to eat almost entirely so as to provide food for some organisms at every stage of its life cycle.
Where home gardens and exterior walls produce food for humans and animals constantly during the growth of the house! Scaffolding is used specially for this purpose. Once the plants have grown and the house is taken, the scaffolding is removed and retained for reuse.
To make the house waterproof , a thick protective layer of chrome is woven along the outside, interspersed with soil pockets where plants grow.
Inside, clay and straw blocks are used to prevent moisture, and a soft layer of soft clay is applied double to provide comfort and aesthetics, making the house look like a regular house.
The current scheme of the ecological house includes three bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, dining, kitchen and open area on the south side to warm it.
Instead of materials that may affect the environment and human health, this home design seeks to protect and embrace the ecosystem as a source of sustainability in the built environment.
Water, an integral part of the survival of the temple itself, is a pulmonary system in the home. There is a stream of gray water that tells the gardens, and a filter stream that enters the living machine, where it is purified by bacteria, fish, and plants that eat organic waste. Water also enters the clean pond, where it enters the soil or evaporates into the atmosphere.
The house looks nice already but can you live in it ?!
Wish I could live here.
@mouradbens, I read a pdf which had beautiful houses with the perfect interior design that could be built in just 1500 sq. ft. and I was mesmerized by that as people living in the same space house would feel jealous by just looking at those pictures. Let me find that pdf and I might share it with you.
