8 March 2015 Violence against women is a scourge for all countries and all social groups. On 8 March, federalism presents examples of this abhorrent practice through an interactive map of testimonies inspired by real events for women from all over the world who have died because of men's violence. The map also outlines federal actions to seek reform and put an end to the disaster.

The testimonies presented by the Italian presenter Serena Dandini, in collaboration with researcher Maoura Meziti, were written as part of a theater project entitled "Violence is Killing" which is being presented for the first time in Tunisia on 8 March at the initiative of the Federation and its member organizations in Tunisia, And the Tunisian League for the Defense of Human Rights.

Violence against women is rampant throughout the world. Domestic violence, sexual violence, trafficking in women, honor killings, sexual slavery, forced marriage and female genital mutilation are all manifestations of this horrific epidemic. The perpetrators often escape punishment and the victims can not prove their rights. As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration, we are appalled by the statement of account on violence against women, "said Karim Lahiji, head of the federation," and governments must shoulder their responsibilities to end the epidemic both in the public and private spheres by adopting the necessary legislative and political measures "
Thousands of young girls around the world have received this fate: pregnancy in the wake of sexual assault, often committed by forced marriage. In many countries of the world, abortion in the case of rape is prohibited. In Nicaragua, El Salvador, Chile and the Dominican Republic, the optional pregnancy is prohibited without exception. In Ireland, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Bangladesh, strict laws restrict the lifting of the abortion ban only when women's lives are at risk. These restrictive legislation all contain procedural restrictions that effectively prevent women from using them, so they are forced into clandestine abortions and the risks they pose to life.
