This is where I call home. Glasgow, a place in Scotland which means 'the dear green place' in Gaelic.
It was founded by Saint Mungo in the 6th century. This photo features the University of Glasgow, a beautiful feature on the skyline around sunset. The people of Glasgow are known for their warm hearts and we have some of the most spectacular wild spaces to be found in the world on our doorstep.
This image was taken in Aberfoyle on Loch Drunkie just before sunrise. It is one of my favourite photos which really captures the mystial atmosphere of the forests here in Scotland.
Further up the river Clyde can be found beautiful waterfalls which are home to nesting Peregrine falcons. Tourists flock from all over the world to marvel at the diverse landscapes that we are lucky to have close by. I often visit these places and love to share my experiences with friends and family. I hope you enjoy the pictures and get a sense of what it's like to visit these places.
Defenitely lucky to have nearby! beautiful!
