So, 31 days ago we started the #100days100blocks Sew along using the Tula Pink City Sampler 100 Modern Quilt Blocks book. We have some fantastic sponsors and a large following of people who are making the blocks and sharing on Instagram. Today is day 31. It has been wonderful to see the variations in the blocks based on fabric choice and colour placement.
I decided to make a completely scrappy quilt and try to use up the fabric in my scrap boxes, yes there are plural. So I have hashtagged my blocks with #scrapboxcity. It has been quite interesting to just have fabrics chosen for one block rather than considering the whole quilt. The challenge will be to make the quilt cohesive when all 100 blocks are made.
