베트남 EVFTA 발효 2개월, 우대조치로 섬유의류수출 청신호

베트남과 유럽연합(EU)의 자유무역협정(EVFTA)이 8월 1일에 발효해 2개월이 지난 현재, 우대조치 품목의 대 EU 수출액은 7억 달러에 이른다고 베트남·인베스트먼트·리뷰(VIR)가 최근 전했다.

상공부에 따르면, 원산지 증명서(C/O)에 해당하는 ‘EUR1’의 발행 건수는 1만 5,000건이었다. 주품목은 신발, 의류, 가방을 비롯 수산품, 플라스틱·플라스틱 제품, 커피 등이다.

관세 우대 대상 품목은 EU로부터의 주문이 늘어나고 있어 지속 성장할 것으로 보인다. 상공부는 제4 사분기(10~12월)에는 섬유 제품과 목공 제품의 EU 수출이 확대될 전망이라고 밝혔다.

일본 무역진흥기구(JETRO)에 따르면, 베트남의 봉제품 수출은 3월 이후 전년 대비 감소가 계속되고 있었지만, 9월은 7개월 만에 증가세로 전환했다.

베트남 세관 총국은 9월 수출은 16.6% 증가한 271억 6,281만 달러라고 발표했다. 코로나 바이러스 감염 확산 영향을 받아 4, 5월은 두자리수(%)로 감소 되었지만, 6월에 증가로 변해, 9월은 두자리수 증가로 회복했다. 수출액 제3위 산업인 봉제품은 1.7% 증가한 28억 8,332만 달러로 7개월 만에 증가세를 보였다.
