This little fountain is called "milkwoman". Is this fountain in Tsarskoye Selo. The statue created by the sculptor P. Sokolov in 1810.

He was known as "the girl with the pitcher". This is the name of the plot fables Jean Lafontaine's "the Milkmaid, or a jug of milk".

A young woman was walking down the road and dreamed about their future wealth. Imagined that her dreams have come true. Jumped with joy. Forgot about the fact that she's holding a jug of milk. Crashed the jug, the milk overflowed and the girl began to think and be sad about his misfortune.

In life it sometimes happens that the imagination of dreamers break into pieces about the reality.
