Finally a new miniature Sculpture - 1:12 Scale

Time runs, doesn´t it? I was a little shocked when I realized,
how much time already passed since my last post here on steemit. 😱

I hope, I will find more time to be more active on steemit again.
So my first post in 2019 is a little woodland fairy in 1:12 scale:

She is nearly done and just needs a little haircut here and there
(not much as I want her hair to look tousled)
and she needs wings of course :-) and a mushroom to sit on.

I sculpted her from polymerclay and painted her eyes, brows, lips etc. with genesis paints.
Her dress is made from different papers.

Have a wonderful creative day! 🎨

Thank you so much @anouk.nox! 😊❤️

She is so cute ! Her expression is timid but curious, full with nervous energy for good things to happen * ___ * I love her pose as well, and her beautiful, wild hair <3

Wow, very good looking and detaied, you are very skilled in painting too:) How did you made the hair? Her face expression is amazing, so lifelike:):)

Glad you like her @georgeboya! I do my best to make my sculptures look alive :-) Her hair is mohair, glued on the head and stiffed a little to shape it.

good job @maysi-art

Thank you very much @marial.moon! :-)

She is very lovely, the way you make the dolls' eyes are so beautiful and captivating. I wonder how she would look like with a haircut :D.

Thank you very much @scrawly! 😊❤️
Eyes are so important, so I always try my best to do them as good as I can.

This is excellent work, @maysi-art. Professional work.

And it's even more amazing that there's more you need to do to finish her up! I can see where you might want to clip her hair, but that's just a fascinating idea in and of itself.

Just how many of these kind of smaller scale sculptures have you done? And do you sell them? And how long would you say it takes to sculpt and finish one of these? It seems like a lot of work and a major amount of skill is involved. :)

Thanks a bunch @glenalbrethsen! 🙏😊
Oh, I don´t know exactly how much sculptures I made in the last years.
More than...hm....50..(?)...really don´t know it ...lol.
Yes, I sell them. I´m a fulltime artist since 2011.
The time it takes to sculpt one goes from 2 days to ....weeks...
Depending on pose, details etc.
