Florence looking out for children in Japan during the COVID-19 outbreak

in sdgs •  4 years ago

If TELL Japan is the organization people turn to for matters in mental health, then Florence is the organization people turn to for concerns surrounding children in need.

There is comfort, apart from immense respect, that there is a strong and stable NPO is looking for children across the nation, be children who are fighting diseases in the hospital, children with disabilities, single parenthood and even children vulnerable to violence.

They are also highly active in both fundraising and support activities, especially in these times of crisis. Their latest activities saw them partnering with SMBC to start the Touch Happy Project, which allows SMBC card users to donate to childcare problems for sick children.

We covered an earlier activity of Florence's, which is a fundraiser for families that have children with disabilities, economically unstable households and households with single parents. The proceeds will become a relief for these vulnerable families during the coronavirus period.

You can read it here on Zenbird Media.

Hoping one day we will have the opportunity to interview such a noble NPO.
