So here's another initiative by my company: the launch of Circular Economy Hub! As a media, it will report news about circular economy from around the world. But it is also educating the public on what it is, and hope to drive Japan towards adopting the new economic model.

I think Japan is at the phase of learning what the term is. Because let's face it, it is not a term that is immediately intuitive. And sometimes, there is a "lost in translation" effect when importing the concept into Japan.
However, it should not mean that Japan is not doing it. Just like how not knowing what "sustainability" means does not mean that consumers do not know what "reduce and reuse" means, some Japanese companies are already conducting circular processes without knowing.
Would love to revisit this again, especially after this pandemic blows over.
