The need for a seaport in Sual Pangasinan have been proposed a long time ago. Since the municipality of Sual is along the sea and many seafarers before trade and come visit the town by sea vessels. The said project was proposed during the Macapagal administration. It is believe that politics rued the way of the project, since Aquino administration followed after the ouster of GMA. And did not touch the project. Pangasinan has more than a million voting strength, and is bigger than La Union. But it is a wonder La Union and Ilocos Norte have seaport . The need for a seaport is huge. Considering traveling goods by sea is way cheaper than by land. It would also open the doors for business, tourism, jobs and taxes for the town. Fortunately the project is now underway and the site is just a walking distance from my place. As a true blue Sualinian I have nothing but the best for my town and dream of it reaching it's full potential. May we work together to achieve a common goal.
