Sea ICE levels in Antartica are and all-time low

Sea ice levels in Antarctica are at an all-time low, the National Snow and Ice Data Center reports.

A researcher from the NSIDC told the BBC these levels are "mind-blowing."

Levels of sea ice in the region have reached record minimums this year, like in 2017 and 2022.
