This Week the of the #seaphotography contest theme is:
"SEA and Children !!!"
Location: Hampi.
Since there is no sea here, Its a River By Name " Tungabhadra River"
Here the one in orange dress is Guru (Swami) and children are his students.
They are performing Surya Arghya. We all know that Sun Is ultimate source of energy.
In Vedic Astrology, Sun is considered as the significator of Body, Health, Eyes, Social Status, Father, Political Career, Ancestral Properties, Influencial Family Name and Profession.
So In India, Sun is considered as a god ie. Lord Vishnu. So Worshiping Sun By offering water is called Surya Arghya.Surya Arghya offering at sunrise is given much importance here.
There are also scientific benifits by doing Surya Arghya. Our body can get vitamin D and calcium by exposing to early sunrise rays.
And when a persone see sun from the water falling from his hand, its very good for eyes as it splits the sunlight into 7 colors.
Surya Arghya Is done only at dawn or dusk.
