why seasteading is the future

Soon we will get to see what an anarcho-capitalist society might look like. No, there isn't a country on the planet that will give up their authority to allow such a society to rise, but rise they will. Just about every square inch of land is claimed by a sovereign government. Yeah there are exceptions to this rule (Liberland, unclaimed islands, etc.) but for the most part all the land is spoken for. So how do we try a social experiment that excludes governments when there is nothing but governments on every continent on the entire globe? We look to the oceans.

I believe seasteading will be that catalyst that shows people that we don't need governments to solve all our problems or for societies to prosper. Seasteading is about voluntarism. Voluntarism is the backbone of an an-cap society. We currently possess the technology to create floating cities. Groups like the Seasteading Institute have found welcoming hosts in safe harbors for these floating cities. Cryptocurrency makes entirely too much sense for such a floating city.

If these social experiments bring economic prosperity to small nations through trade and tourism, look for these floating cities to spread to coastal regions throughout the globe! Freedom smells like an ocean!
