The US SEC harsh announcement on ICOs - What coin you need to buy

in sec •  7 years ago  (edited)

2018 is the year of regulation! We have experienced a lot of changes already. As of January 1st the United States is taxing every cryptocurrency trade. The state-level SEC has been sending cease and desist letters to Ponzi style cryptocurrency platforms. And now the SEC has ICOs in their targets. What frustrates me is they want to regulate something they don't even recognize as a currency.

Something else you are going to start seeing is an increase of investments into privacy coins due to all of this regulation. I will be doing a video on what are the best privacy coins and what kind of future to expect from them. With all this regulation and Bitcoin not truly being private its a very safe assumption to say start looking into things like Monero and Zencash.

Take a look at my DTube video to see what the SEC has released.

Thank you very much. I do the best I can to provide good information to those who are willing to follow me.

I believe that is why Steem was going up in token value in the past months.. I concur.. It is engaging the community to be involved.. From those who post videos and those who comments and get people to engage... I like your videos from here, YouTube, and all different media... Great work and all your information are informative

Very well said. Thank you for commenting.

I am not in US myself ( man I am glad that I am not! ).

I find this whole tax per trade absolutely ridiculous especially when you are talking crypto to crypto trade. Everything is so volatile that this whole things makes no sense.

I think it just reeks of greed, that's all it is.

agreed!

thnx for the updates, CND been doing really well for me.
got enough for the entry package 5k+ but this feature is not live yet ? i cant find where i apply for it..
Also wondering where do you think the support will settle coming days-weeks with all this turmoil

Just to help out, then CND AI Bot has been live and I have been using... I had the same struggle in how to get it set up..
You will need 2 things:

  1. Telegram (which is where the AI bot will communicate) - install it on your computer or mobile phone
  2. Wallet that will show you CND tokens for to validate your ownership of the token

How to gain access: https://cindicator.gitbooks.io/cindicatorbot/content/sds.html

  1. You will need to move the tokens into MetaMask, Mist, MyEtherWallet, Parity
I use Metamask Wallet (make sure after fees that you have 5000 minimum for Beginner)
    https://cindicator.gitbooks.io/cindicatorbot/content/registration/how-to-send-transaction/metamask.html
  2. You need to send a message to Bot (afterward)
    https://t.me/CindicatorBot

Follow the instructions with Cindicator Bot

If you need step by step:
https://getcrypto.info/cindicator/
https://getcrypto.info/cindicator/#skiptocoinexchange

This would go from all from buying (through coin exchange like Binance) to moving it to wallet

Thanks for posting the info

Gonna check this out right away! appreciate the effort of posting this!
THNX !

Your welcome. Check out my other videos. Their is a lot of money making opportunity in their also.

Their website has more details on making sure your live. As for support I think its going to be in the .30 cent per coin range.

great thnx for the feedback!
felt like the current price level would be somewhat of the support for coming weeks seeying how it has not really dumped much compared to the increasing value

The tax laws are very gray, we need some legislation. But we need it to be made by people that understand the emerging tech

I agree completely. Thanks for commenting.

Tax reform is great, but we need a flat tax

I like the progress we have made as a nation, but not enough has happened. I think we need to move to a flat tax with graduated financial assistance instead of confusing tax brackets, incentives, and deductions. I shouldn't have to go talk to my accountant before I buy a cup of coffee.

I think taxation on crypto is a reasonable thing, as governments--like them or not--help ensure the welfare of their citizens, infrastructure, and energy resources. As such, it is my view they are entitled to rewards for their service. Of course, greed is certainly a motivating factor.

Very well said. I certainly respect your position. Thank you for commenting.

mickscott from Youtube - made it (forgot to check the damn Spam folder for Steemit confirmation). Video has some loss/compression at my end (sounds like you have a lisp). Is it like this for everyone or am I just having bandwidth issues? Otherwise this is a great platform - I'll stick around. Thanks, this reminds me to do some research on what's in the pipeline for Australian tax laws concerning crypto.

As of right now DTube videos are in 480p. Hoping to see it in HD real soon. Thanks for coming over man. I appreciate it. Make sure to upvote my content.
