My anecdote

Hi, I will tell you a story. Have you ever forget something ?, me too.
As you know in university we don’t write dates like when we learned in high school, so I always forget dates. Then 26 September, Wednesday, it is my dad’s birthday. In the morning before he left he acted like it is a simple day for him because me and my mom like to surprise him on his birthday. I didn’t forget his birthday. I don’t know the date. Until evening he come from his work. I think he thought that we had surprise for him, but we don’t. Then he asked my mom what is it today and my mom answered that it’s Wednesday. He is very mad at me and my mom. If you ask me that I forgot other thing except my dad birthday I will say yes cause I forget my birthday too.
It happen when I was 19. My mom called me with a serious sound that we have to see you in evening. I’m very confused I think about mistakes that I did, but I’m sure I didn’t do nothing wrong. I’m so worried I don’t want to argue with her. I don’t concentrate with the lesson what because I’m thinking about it too much. Then in the evening on my birthday I met my mom at Big-C and. She told me I called you because I want you to help me chose a birthday gift for her daughter’s friend. I don’t suspect that she talked about my birthday and daughter’s friend she means is me. After we finished choosing and buy everything we go home. When we are at home my mom asked me that do you forget something after I heard she said like that I’m very worried. I had a lot of sweat like I did something wrong. I didn’t do anything wrong, but she always repeat her words like I did something wrong. So I told her that I think I don’t forget anything why do you ask me. She laughed so loud and she said “ you forget your birthday. I took you to choose your cake and your gift by yourself”. Then I look the dates at calendar I’m shocked it is 31 October. I just think it near to halloween day cause I saw everyone preparing to dress up like ghost on halloween day, but I don’t think it is halloween day. If I know that it is my birthday I will chose an expensive gift more than the gift that I chose for the fake daughter of mom’s friend.
This is my funny story and I think it is not good when you forget the important days of your important person. I think it shows how you care of them. So I will try to remember everything and note something to prevent me forgetting the important things. And do you have a funny story to share with me?
