If signed into law, violators will face a min of $75k in fines and 15 yrs in prison and a max penalty of $100k in fines and 25 yrs in prison.

Rep Jackson Lee faced criticism from the NRA in '19 after stating that AR-15s are as heavy as 10 moving boxes &fire 50 cal rounds.
