I work for a business in the game Second Life called 'Purple Panda Bakery'. This business utilizes the LIFE2 gaming system and allows your character/avatar to live a 'real' life in the game. You have to do reagular everyday things such as eat, sleep, bath, use the restroom, and exercise. These stats have to be maintained for your avatar to remain healthy.
What our business mainly is to make food items for avatars to eat. We specialize in baked goods, desserts, and other confectioneries. We carry cakes, doughnuts, pies, ice creams, etc.
What I do is that I design these items in a program called Blender which is a 3D design program. I design the shapes of the items and then apply textures to give them a 3D look. You can see one of the items I designed below which is a fruit tart.
We've also made drinks and special holiday items for special holidays as you can see below. These items were designed for Fourth of July
We have also designed other items besides food. We did a whole spread for Halloween including Jack-o-Lanterns, Owl pets, and Spooky Snails. These last items provide entertainment stats for your avatar so they don't get bored.
If you're a 3D world nut then you'll love Second Life and you'll love the game in Second Life called LIFE2. We'd love it if you stop by our shop. You can download a Second Life Viewer to log into the game, but first you'll need to create a Second Life account. Go HERE to create a Second Life account.
After creating your Second Life account; you'll need a viewer so you can log in and play. We recommend Firestorm viewer and you can download that HERE and download the version that is appropriate for your operating system. They offer versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac. After installing; run the viewer and log in with the same credentials you used to log into the website.
Once you get in-world you'll want to visit our shop and you can get there by using the SLURL below:
